D4.1 - (ongoing) Value chains for fishery and aquaculture products in the EU
The report presents a “market map” of the seafood sector in Europe, through the identification of the different stages in the main market and the main characteristics of the economic agents involved. The report also presents some key variables such as levels of fragmentation/concentration, business dimension, activities undertaken and cost structure.

D4.2 - (ongoing) The effects of market power on European fish and seafood processors’ incomes and margins
The report compares the negotiating power of every agent according to their ability of accessing alternative markets and the structure and market share of the entities operating in the previous and forthcoming levels of the value chain.

Creation of a database containing a list of European producers with data of country, contact information, species, certifications held (such as denominations of origin, organic labels, MSC, Friends of the Sea, etc.) and certification date open for everyone to increase market transparency.

D4.4 - (ongoing) Price transmission and market power in the value chain of seafood products in developed countries
The report analyses market delimitation and price transmission from the primary sector to the retail stage in selected seafood value chains. It also scrutinises the influence of international trade on domestic prices formation for different intra and extra EU trade flows and domestic markets of seafood commodities.
