Brest Métropole, in coordination with the Technopôle Brest-Iroise, and with the support of the Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique, the European Union, the Brittany Region and the Department of Finistère, is organizing the 4th edition of Safer Seas, from October 26th to October 30th, 2015 in Brest.


As an international event dedicated to maritime safety and security, Safer Seas proposes a unique multi-sectoral offer to decision-makers, institutions, operators and professionals of the sea, companies and research establishments, and students.

The 2015 edition focuses on blue growth, climate change issues and challenges for navigation and offshore activities.

Safer seas is organized under the patronage and with the participation of the International Maritime Organization, the European Union and the French Republic.
